Care and Service

The Stephen Ministry team at FPC is available to talk about how stress is affecting each person in the church family and beyond. If you or a loved one are going through a tough time, Stephen Ministers are prepared to help. Trained women and men will meet privately with you, provide a listening ear, and help you along the path to finding God’s peace. Strict confidence is maintained. A simple call to a church pastor or the church office (910-483-0121) will get you directed to the referral person to start a caring relationship. May God’s peace calm your storm.

Home & Hearth Holiday Fellowship

Your Home & Hearth Family looks forward to seeing you during the holidays. Home & Hearth Holiday Fellowship meals are organized for holidays throughout the year to welcome ALL who may be new to the church; military families and those who do not have family nearby; those who long for a full course meal; those caring for an elderly relative and do not have time to cook; and those who no longer wish to cook for just one or two in the home.
Main entrees/meat and drinks are provided by the congregational care committee.
Participants are asked to PRE-REGISTER and BRING A SIDE DISH TO SHARE. Feel free to share the invitation and bring friends.

Meals that Matter

Meals that Matter is a ministry that provides a home cooked meal for those in need for those in need of support. Teams are organized to cook and deliver. Requests for meals may be directed through the church office. Each team takes a turn so that no one team or person is called on too frequently.  If interested in participating in the Meals that Matter Ministry please contact Debbie Williams (debbiewilliams954@gmail or 910-485-2692).
