2010 WINTER/SPRING SUNDAY SCHOOL

PRESCHOOL CLASSES

Preschoolers enjoy music and activity centers that review the Bible stories each week.

First Steps - Toddlers (12-24 months) - Room 107

Children experience the joy of Jesus' birth, become aware how he grew, and experience the wonder of Jesus, His love and life. They discover how God provides for every need and all the wonderful world God created.
 

Bible Thumbprints - 2-Year-olds - Room 106

Children learn that Jesus had a family, that He grew to become a big boy, and that He loves children very much. They are in awe as they read about the storm Jesus stopped. The world God created helps children learn how god provides daily needs.
 
Bible Fingerprints - 3-Year-Olds - Room Goodwill A

Children experience music, drama, art, and a variety of activities as they discover God's stories in the Bible. Boys and girls will know they belong to God and are secure in His love and care as they hear how Jesus healed the sick and changed lives.

 
Bible Handprints - 4-Year-Olds - Room Goodwill B

Through the great stories of The Bible, boys and girls learn how Jesus healed the sick and performed miracles. They meet the people of the Bible who were changed by Jesus. Children experience the secure love and care of God.

 

ELEMENTARY CLASSES

Bible Footprints/Steps - Kindergarten & First Grade- Room 205

God loved and cared for David. What does Jesus teach us? Discover the wonderful acts of Jesus. Yes! Jesus Is Alive! We learn to tell others about Jesus.

 
Bible Trails - Second & Third Grade- Room 208

Jesus can make us well. He loves me enough to die for me. Yes! Jesus Is Alive! Who is the Holy Spirit and what does He do?

 
Bible Guide - Pre-Teen Fourth & Fifth Grade- Room 210

Jesus is the Son of God. He has risen. What is the church? How do we grow the church? How do people hear the Good News?

 

ELEMENTARY OPENING ASSEMBLY

Grades 2-5 - Students will begin their Sunday morning in the Elementary Opening Assembly before going to their Sunday School classrooms. Pre K, K, and First Grade classes enjoy music in their classrooms.

Nursery: Sundays, 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Wednesdays, 5:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Nursery Staff provides supervised care with Bible story, music, videos & learning activities.

There is extended nursery care for Chancel Choir Rehearsals, Diaconate, Session, and Wednesday committee meetings. Please call the church office (483.0121) if you would like to request childcare for your next meeting!
