King David in the Bible enjoyed enormous success. One reason he did so well was King David was surrounded by “Mighty Men.” These were extraordinary men who did amazing in the kingdom of Israel.
David’s Mighty Men, a First Presbyterian Men’s Ministry, meets on the 4th Monday of each month. Meetings are typically scheduled in the Activity Room. Every meeting begins with dinner and is followed by a group discussion, devotion or study.
By design, this ministry is ‘less formal’ than some of the more traditional men’s ministries, with an emphasis on the fellowship and camaraderie built with thoughtful discussion and time spent in the Word.
David’s Mighty Men are actively pursuing community mission projects, assisting with cookouts for the children’s ministry, engaged with the Wounded Warriors, Operation Inasmuch, and more!
