Fellowship at First Presbyterian Church is more, it is a Loving Fellowship. We welcome you to join in our groups.
Basketball
Calling all basketball players! Join in weekly pick-up games and devotion.
Players meet once a week on Tuesdays at 7:00pm.

Breakfast Small Group Study
We will read “Anxious for Nothing: Finding Calm in a Chaotic World” by Max Lucado independently and use it for discussion during breakfast.
Once a week meetings on Wednesdays from 6:45 am to 7:45 am beginning January 18th until May 3rd.

Caregivers Of Aging Persons (COAP)
A group of caregivers who support each other, while supporting their aging family members. The group hosts special guest speakers and many discussion topics during their monthly meetings.
David’s Mighty Men
A men’s informal small group with emphasis on fellowship and comradery.
Dinner for Six-ish
A social dinner club for adults. This group is made of members of First Presbyterian Church and welcomes non members as well!
Historical Small Group
For adults.
Gather to learn and explore the history of Fayetteville including the history of First Presbyterian Church. We will include some short walking excursions from the church. Classes will be from 1 to 1.5 hours.
Begins Wednesday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m. (after the All in Fellowship Dinner)

Message Seekers
This group will gather weekly for a year (or so) to read the Bible together.
We will read, discuss and grow together in our understanding and knowledge of scripture.
Once the group is formed, they will decide on the day of the week, time and location that works best for the group.

MOPs
A group of mothers of preschoolers and mothers of school age children who support and encourage each other.
Pastor’s Lunch Bunch
Adults, Maximum participants – 12
Pastor’s Lunch Bunch will feature the discussion of a short bible passage and a chance to share joys and concerns and have a time of prayer together.
We will of course eat lunch together. You can bring your own or order off the menu. What the group studies and discusses will evolve as we get to know each other a little better.

Prayer – Beyond the Emoji
For adults.
The Engagement Committee is sponsoring an 8-week small group entitled “Prayer – Beyond the Emoji”. This will take place in February and March 2023. Moderator Bill McFadyen and other First Prez Prayer advocates will talk about prayer in scriptures and then lead the class in actually praying for concerns within our church.

Presbyterian Women
An all ages women’s group that helps the church with ministries, serves the congregation in times of need and hosts special events.
S.A.L.T. Seasoned Adults Learning Together
A group of men and women who are “seasoned” adults. This group is focused on fellowship and has monthly activities.
Stitch Buddies
Intergenerational
Maximum participants – 15
Stitch Buddies is a social knitting and crochet group
for all ages and skill levels. It’s a great opportunity to learn
a new skill or practice your craft, while creating projects
that will benefit local missions.
Meetings will be weekly on Sundays from 3:00 to 4:30pm
January 8th through March 26th.

Tapestry
Tapestry is a women’s Bible study group. Starting in January, we will have a five-week study on “The Twelve Disciples” by Douglas Connelly. This will be followed by “Anxious, Fighting Anxiety with
the Word of God” by Scarlet Hiltibidal. This will conclude our study in April for this year.
Meetings will be weekly on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. beginning January 12th.
