Ways to Participate
Snack Kit Ministry
The intent of the Snack Kit Ministry is to provide nutritional food items for use over a weekend to children in need when they leave school on each Friday. Food requests from the Social Workers at area schools are steadily rising, and we want to grow our Snack Kit Ministry so that we can help.
The Snack Kit Ministry is in need of Sunday School Classes, Committees and Church Groups to pack Snack Kits. Sign up to volunteer outside of the Snack Kit Ministry Room.
Drivers are needed to deliver snack kits to Walker Spivey Elementary.
If you are interested in helping, please contact:
Leslie DeSessa, LDesessa@gmail.com
Terry Plummer, plummer.terry57@gmail.com
It takes about $180 to provide food for the entire year to one student. Monetary gifts can be made to our Local Relief Ministry and dropped off at the church office.

Haiti Outreach Ministries
Children’s Ministry sponsors two children in Haiti. To help us continue to support these children, we ask you to consider making an offering for Haiti Outreach Ministries. In Haiti, there is no free, public education. HOM and its Haitian partner MICECC operate three primary schools and a secondary school, providing a quality education steeped in Christian principles.
Monetary donations can be dropped off at the church office and marked “Sponsor a Child in Haiti”.
Children will have crafts for sale during Mission Conference in Eller Hall. All proceeds will benefit sponsoring these two Haitian students.
